Burnley Pre Match

Thought they'd have been a thread already.

So another chance to get the 14 point lead over 5th back tomorrow against a struggling Burnley team who no doubt will still give us a good game, odds on for Wood to get one against us despite Burnley losing 7 in the last 9.

I saw that Rodgers has spoken about Chilwell's recent loss of form, he seemed to not argue too much against Chilwell maybe being fatigued, I wonder if he'll be rested tomorrow?

Mendy in for Coudhury or both?

We do really need to get our team form back as well, we've been let off by nearly every other chasing team having intermittent form as well, lets keep the dream alive.

A pre match thread is always welcome,
Looking at the opponents or any problems,
Forms has been off long before fatigue set in,
So now we are trying to get our form back and cover ndidi,
I'd be tempted to put Mendy in tomorrow in a 4-1-4-1/
4-1-3-2

Maddison, Tielemans Albrighton, nacho

Vardy

Hey True.

I really can’t work out how this game is going to go. Burnley are woefully out of form, but they are compact, and very capable of hurting teams from set pieces.

I can see us doing them 2 or 3 nil, and I can also see us losing by the odd goal.

Hoping we get the formation right more than anything. I think all things point to 3-5-2 for this game. Puts more pressure on their centre backs and stops their width hurting as much.

Hoping we can get a positive result 🤞

The rumour is that the team will be:

Schmeichel
Ricky P, Evans, Soyuncu, Fuchs
Mendy, Praet
Maddison
Perez, Vardy, Barnes

Obviously I don’t know how true this is, but would be interesting if true.

Fuchs couldn’t do much worse than Chilwell last game and Hamza disappointed a bit - but still worried the midfield lacks a bit of creativity.

We shall see .....

It will be interesting to see how Brendan addresses the questions raised by the Saints, particularly about Chillers and Hamza.

Great news is that N'didi is back in training although not expected to be in today's squad. Wes may be back today.

If that’s the team Joby I’d imagine we’d go 4-1-4-1?
