Sheffield Utd in Premier League this season

They're well organised, disciplined and difficult to score against (only Liverpool have conceded fewer goals), surprising nearly everyone at how well they've done (in 7th place ATM) so well done to them. Neither ourselves or Arsenal deserved to beat them at home when both matches ended 1-1.

John Fleck showing he's the absolute baller we were told he would be. Played for Rangers in a cup final at 16 but his career never really got going with us.

Pushing McTominay down to 3rd best Scottish midfielder in the prem this season yet some United fans think he's excellent.

They are ok
It’s more the fact that the so called top clubs like Chelsea, United and Spurs have been well below where they should be in performance and league position.

The league has been very poor this season and made worse by inconsistent refereeing decisions and VAR.

Spurs are well and truly I’m a transition phase. The old Spurs would have probably been higher up the league. We need to build for the next phase now. If we can get CL diff next season it would be a massive bonus. But with only one striker who is out injured, chances are limited.

Sheffield United are an OK side, but it says more about how weak the Prem is this season. Without doubt the weakest ever Prem in my opinion. 60 points will probably nab 4th place a CL spot this season. A very average Leicester miles clear in the top three tells you all you need to know about the weakness of the Prem.

This. Lester and wolves are higher than they’d usually be as well, the top teams in this league are weak and the table reflects that. The last time it was like this was the 15/16 season.

Arsenal have won 2 of their last 15 games.

Relegation form and they are only 7 points above the relegation zone.

I do think part of it is because the teams below the top 6 have more money and have closed the gap rather than the top 6 falling off a cliff. As you see European performances are still very good.

Sheff Utd have been excellent this season, and could go 5th if they beat Man City tomorrow.

That may be more to the fact that European football is also not as good as it used to be. Both Barca and Real are a shadow of their former selves, even though they are still 1 and 2 in their league. They scrape over the line in a lot of matches these days.
