Are we doomed for good?

Seems like the Arsenal after decades of mismanagement all decency was thrown out of the Window under Wenger it continued to an extent up to now.

The club purchased the then revolutionary data company StatDNA for £2million to help return suggestions for potential new recruits. The results were nothing short of a disaster.

Granit Xhaka was the marquee signing, a cool £35million enough to convince Borussia Mönchengladbach to part with the midfielder in a deal that the German club surely still can’t believe they managed to pull off.

In came Mustafi, Perez, Lacazette and Kolasinac while giving hefty contracts to the likes of Ozil and allowing the likes of Sanchez, Ramsey and before them RVP to run their contracts down costing the club on and off the field.

We are now in Europa and most likely out of Europa next season fighting relegation battles with Burnley while Wolves and Sheffield have replaced us in top seven. We are 43 points behind Liverpool how the mighty has fallen. Our revenues will dwindle and sponsorship will dry up because we cannot compete.

I really don’t see a way out seems like we will suffer for the next few years unless miracle happens and Kroenke sell to real owners with ambitions.

What a miserable, joyless bunch you are! Sure thing's aren't great, but we have a new manager, remember? Do you expect him to turn thing's around in a few weeks?? have you seen Man U lately, how long is it taking them? Even 'Pool have had a 30 year wait for a league title. Give the man 2 summers then judge him. I remember the Terry Neil days, now THAT was a tough time. Cheer up ffs lads!

There are plenty of reasons to be optimistic and although we can't just go out and buy a whole new team like one or two other Premier League clubs can we do spend money. There has been under-investment in key areas of the team, big sums of money wasted on some players and perhaps over-investment in other areas of the pitch - did we really need both Lacazette & Aubameyang? Would have rather just had the latter.

Yes, they really did expect things to be turned around instantly. Hell ALL of this should be fixed by now, they got Wenger sacked nearly two years ago. It was all Wenger's fault remember, he was the egomaniacal tyrant, with too much power who mismanaged us to mediocrity. Since we sacked him, that should all be fixed by now and us in 3rd or 4th easy-peasy, back in CL this year and challenging for the title next, job done. In fact, according to them, we should be in CL already and challenging for title THIS season. But they'll give Arteta a break there because it was 'that incompetent Emery' who stuffed that up

No point even trying to get them to think otherwise, since they're all in the know about these thing because they watch alot of football (any/every game they can find, that type). So they know better than us and know that it is indeed possible to complete a 3-5 year rebuilding/restructuring job, in just 2 years. They actually know how to do it in 18 months, hence them getting Emery sacked for not making it on time. Arteta's neck'll be on the line by the summer too if he doesn't get a string of wins, fast.

The sad thing is that you probably believe this!

btw: Word on the street is that Aubameyang likely will not be with the Gunners next season. Goodbye!
