That's the nature of being a midfielder. The bulk of his work is creative and possession based so it looks good on the eye.

But he hasn't replicated that in about a quarter of Man City's matches - even their fans will tell you that.

Virgil has legitimately been first class in every single game - that's league, CL and other.

I like how I praise Henderson and nobody acknowledges it yet all the people slating him get ample replies.

Actually felt VVD form was a bit iffy at the start of tge season, relatively to his high standards anyway.

Absolutely back on it now though.

im with winston on this.

what henderson is is a cog in a very well oiled and put together machine, but i bet it would be a damn side harder to replace a VVD, Mane, TAA or robertson than it would be Henderson.

one example for me is jack Grealish.

works hard for his team, isnt afriad to stick his foot in but has more ability on the ball than henderson does.

would liverpool suffer massively if henderson left and grealish for example came in?
