How? Well the top managers see weakness where others don't. It's been noticeable for a while now that Salah is becoming a problem for the forward line; of course he's still a huge threat and creates but he seems to have ignored mane and firmino and wants to do it all by himself. Salah is making the "team" suffer imo, many times a simple 10 yard or 5 yard square pass and another player in a better position would probably have scored...but no, salah has become too selfish.
I am sure Klopp has noticed and I reckon a simple team change would make us better, and that is salah out and mbappe in. What a coup that would would be and there would be plenty of offers for salah.
That needs to happen imo
We can improve.

nah.
this salah is too selfish stuff is rot.
he's no different from the player that helped us get 97 points and a CL title.

Wouldn’t swap him for anyone . Fine line between selfish and genius . He will get that wrong occasionally. Am sure Klopp will remind him of this

He hasn't lost it, opponents are just more aware now IMO. As someone said he did those a lot in his first season.

We can do better than our top scorer from last 2 seasons in PL and the current joint top scorer?
Who may that be?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I understand this argument but I also credit his tally to Klopp and our system as well his own qualities.
He's the one player at present who isn't playing for the team - and that goes totally against our mantra.
I'm not quite sure what the hell has happened to him this year but it's as though he has forgotten how to kick a football. Even the United goal wasn't the cleanest of strikes - yet it somehow went under De Gea.
I don't want to have a go at the lad because his contribution has been immense but there's a side to his game that he needs to address.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you all mental?
Not playing for the team? We are so lucky to have a world class player who is constantly double/triple marked, wrestled and fouled by teams because they are terrified of him. Ok last night he was a bit selfish and should have passed it more than once but not playing for the team? The guy doesn’t stop running and works his ass off for the team. There was one point when wolves broke away and who was covering at right back? Yes Mo. (Before the Gomez block)
His decision making does need to improve at times but talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth!
If it wasn’t for his ‘selfish’ dribble which involved a ridiculous nut meg and drawing 4 players towards him creating space, then firmino wouldn’t have had the opportunity to score.
Not meaning to single anyone out but some of the general attitudes on here can be mystifying.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What attitudes? We're merely saying that his decision making form has dipped.
That's not a contentious point surely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair I think it was more the comments like ‘salah out, Mbappe in’(OP) and ‘salah isn’t working for the team’ and ‘he has forgotten how to kick a football’ when he is clearly contributing so much to this excellent run of form.

if anyone needs to learn a lesson actually watch the game last night and watch salah work himself into the ground up front on his own.
same as bobby playing left midfield.
that's the attitude you want.

Nobody is denying his hard work because still he should really have passed it at crucial moments. Its in the interest of the team that he does this, its not a rejection of his contributions.

first one yes, second one to ox? I took a second look last night and actually left that ox was too wide and salah was right.
a lot of players played the wrong ball last night. there were 2 or three obvious balls that went to the wrong player.
the players need to do what they can.
is anyone criticising bobby cos he missed one off his left foot cos he couldn't lift it over the collapsing patricio? no cos he then smashed his second on in off his left.
nobody's perfect.
theres good reason why people sing their names.

Nice speech but every player should pass the ball when the pass is on.
