There’s a lot of things that people said Ferguson couldn’t do, and he always proved them wrong.

Would have been an interesting battle but to rule out Ferguson is ridiculous.

We will never see it happen so we are left to speculate so that's my opinion. You are free to think otherwise.

Fergie would not have been able to stop Pep from taking over the league anyway.

.....

Only a fool would have bet anything against Fergie.

Some of us are able to express an opinion whilst appreciating the opposite view.

Some of us just make silly statements that we can’t back up, as if they’re some sort of fact.

There’s no denying that Fergie was a genius of a manager, but looking at his teams in his later years, it’s very doubtful they could have lived with the emergence of City.

Basically, it seems Fergie knew exactly what he was doing with the timing of his retirement.....

Why? He did it before with Chelsea. He wouldn’t have stood still. He never did.

So many people were suggesting that City side were arguably the best ever PL side, so it’s hardly an insult to suggest United wouldn’t have kept pace.

That's nice to know, thanks.

Still, he wouldnt have been able to stop Pep IMO.

Yeh, you said.

But it had no relevance in the point you were trying to make because it completely lacks any credibility.

Hope this helps.
