Well you can’t complain with a much changed team, no injuries and progression. Always disappoints me when you don’t see one player step up and push the first team.

Justin remains the only reserve who looks capable of pushing the first team squad.

Fuchs ooooooozed quality throughout. Deserved MOTM.

Did enough, that was all that was needed.

I’m not a huge fan of Perez but he’s a very different player. Should be in a no.10 role really - I thought his pressing was good in the first half but got outmuscled too easily after that and finishing for that big chance was suspect

Even when Albrighton has a poor game, as he did today, you can never fault his work rate. It’s just that whatever quality he had seems to have left him these days.

Perez was his usual frustrating self. I thought he was pretty good first half. Dropping into pockets of space and causing problems. It’s his decision making that lets him down as is his propensity to lose the ball in threatening areas.

The one I have given up on is Gray. Today was his big chance of demonstrating why he should be in the team. The player with the skill to be the difference between the two sides. But, once again, he offered absolutely nothing. It may be that we just have to forget that he’ll ever come good and move on. I can’t see him rising like Ian has this season so we’re just flogging a dead horse.

I missed the match today and have only just caught up on the result; looks to me like job done?

We’re through Dunge and that’s what matters.

First half was good and we should have been 2-3 up if we’d been more clinical in the final 3rd and Gray hasn’t have been playing.

Second half Brentford really stepped up and we looked leggy without ever majorly under pressure but for a couple of moments when they hit the post/had a decent effort.

Got to say overall that we should be happy. No injuries, strong second team getting the job done, Fuchs reminding me why I love him so much. What’s not to like?

Except Perez. What a waste of £30m he is 😉
