Shame Barkley isn’t doing at Chelsea. I didn’t agree with how he left Everton, but thought would be the move that made him.

That’s saying something

I've never got Barkley, others have always seen more in him than I have, never had the football brain to match the technical skill. That's the difference between him & Mount, his ability on the ball isn't anything special but he's got the maturity of a player in his mid 20's - long as he's got a good attitude you can see him becoming a real player one day.

Not seen the best of Mount in possession probably due to fatigue, underestimated ability.
Frank is very demanding...puts them through the wringer in training (I expect nothing less, knowing the strong work-ethic/rate player that he was).

Mount is one player that needs the upcoming winter break more than anyone, do him the world of good mentally and physically.
Exerts a lot of energy to his game.

At this moment appears to be running on empty.

When the CL tie come around, going to need Mount in tip-top condition leading the press and displaying his first-rate footballing IQ.

Why some fans need to think before demanding youth revolutions. Want the change but lack the patience. It's like wanting a great body, hitting the gym & quitting the moment you feel the burn for the first time.

Exactly that devil, we've had some shocking results that were probably not warranted and should not have happened. But to put it on the back of someone like mount whose been one of our best performers all year makes no sense. Give the kid time.
