RIP Kobe Bryant

Not sure how experienced he was but he was clearly a bit of an idiot (rip) he was told to climb by air traffic control.

I guess in some way that would have been less painful for those on board. Can't imagine knowing you are gonna crash for thirty seconds being a great feeling

You don’t say the point being the emergency services wouldn’t ground their helicopters unless the conditions were dangerous.

You don’t saythe point being the emergency services wouldn’t ground their helicopters unless the conditions were dangerous.

Not disagreeing with that but the point is whether it was legal to use a helicopter in those conditions - and was the pilot experienced enough to do so...?

its not illegal to drive in fog and it wouldnt be illegal to fly in it.
