Away from the transfer dramas and the scary news of the Kung Flu outbreak in China, a passion we all share is the world of movies.
And quality ones at that. I thought I’d start at the 1950’s as surely even Sandy ain’t old enough to have visited the picturehouse in the feisty 40’s.
For me, decade by decade - these are the best movies.
1950’s - On the Waterfront, Rebel Without a Cause, Rear Window
1960’s - Easy Rider, Dr Strangelove, Midnight Cowboy
1970’s (the best decade for movies) - Taxi Driver, Godfather 2, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
1980’s - Blade Runner, Full Metal Jacket, Raging Bull
1990’s - LA Confidential, The Matrix, Pulp Fiction
2000’s - Lost in Translation, Oldboy, Mulholland Drive
2010’s - Whiplash, Mad Max: Fury Road, Parasite
2020’s - Too soon to tell obviously, but 1917 is brilliant and will surely be up there one day.
Obviously there will be some WTF choices, but that’s the subjectivity of art. We all like different things. You guys choose yours.

They should have ended Indiana Jones at 3. Would have made a great trilogy. They just had to go ahead and spoil it didn't they?
Ford will be 80 by the time they get round to completing the 5th one. Most of him will be CGI'd for the stunts.

Man, Don’t you know it!
From the classic tension filled silent opening to Bronson giving back Fonda his Harmonica.. a glorious film every time I watch it.

You know, I just saw ‘The Last Wagon’ for the first time, with Richard Windmark. Made in ‘56, it’s very impressive also..

That it was! The go to site.
The take off of Youtube channels hurt it i suppose.but it was king for a long time.
Collider Movie Talk, was a great replacement. But that too is dead now.

It wasn't working last time I checked. I've tried some of the alternatives, but they don't seem as good.

Mad it lasted as long as it did, a library of most things, download in hd. virtually no ads. was amazing whilst it lasted.
