Was on court last night and being on the red button wasn't able to record and watch, so these are my thoughts from a view just from media really.
First thing I saw was the score and ecstatic to get 3 points regardless of exact score, regardless of performance.
Next thing I look for is injuries and lineups.
Surprised but not surprised to see Poveda in line up, looks like no injuries.
Then you look at social and can see Augustin getting into it and the fans not happy with ref and looking at ja606 everyone criticising the performance and worrying and then an amazing second half comeback.
So how do I see that.
I didn't see the match, don't think officials are bent, but do think that there's a range of competence and this one was at one end of that range. AR spoke out on social and I think he worded it well in terms of expressing frustration but not specifically accusing this ref.
Am very happy that team turned it around, for had they not then I think that would have finally broken this side.
But why did they turn it around?
I'm hoping that the new faces have stirred something. That Bielsa has told them that in no uncertain terms that this is not acceptable and the Leeds that played Arsenal first half needs to show up.
It was almost predictable that new striker comes in and Bamford scores.
I was disappointed in highlights to see Bamford's celebration, if he wants fans really on his side he needs to ignore any negative stuff he hears and always be trying to build a connection, not sure these celebrations help that. Connect better with fans, they'll support you better through thick and thin and you'll perform better for it.
This is a hugely symbolic result. We put a halt in some form to our poor results. We turned around a 2 goal deficit, something we rarely do when going behind, we showed the division that we're ready to go again.
Crucial result, crucial second half performance. I believe we need some sort of points gap going into last 6 games just in case and right now we couldn't be much better placed.
Well done Leeds!

Tbf Millwall were riding high in the form table and we were near the bottom.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We are a better team by a country mile and form is pretty much down to Leeds United not playing to its known strengths. I can't imagine anyone saying that Millwall was the better team on paper or on the green stuff last night.

Agree Stevie.
That's what makes this season so maddening.
We are clearly fantastic at times. And then we
double-barrel the sh * T out of both feet. But,
we're the best team in this division.
And Derby are fooking crap.

Bet you wasn't thinking that at 2-0 down though.

Yes I was, that's why I get so angry and frustrated. We were bloody amateurish last night. How many Millwall players would walk into our first team now? Jed Wallace is someone who causes issues but the others?

It was clearly a tale of two halves last night.
First Half: Sh . 8 Te.
Second Half: God's gift to football.

Stevie, excellent analysis. The one factor you haven't taken into account is what Phil Hay calls, 'the Alcatraz of the Championship.' This is a brutal, unforgiving league. Every team has something to play for, and every team plays their cup final against us. How many goalkeeping displays like Bialkowski's have we seen this season? How many games have we seen that are 'meaningless'? How often do teams at the bottom beat teams at the top? How often do teams get into their stride and then falter...or falter, and then go on a run? This makes the league so unpredictable and exciting. the past three seasons have been one extended adrenaline rush for the team and the fans. We should be able to win the golden ticket this year but one thing is for sure, if we are in the Premier League next season, we won't be seeing many games like last night.

Totally agree. Clubs have always raised their game against Leeds United for as long as I remember. Popular for being unpopular, fans who must rank amongst the most loyal, partisan and bloody noisy in the game.
But we've always known this and a man of MB should be able to outwit his opponent rather than operate with only one plan.
