Jose is already showing his influence

in the short time he has been at the club. He is starting the rebuild early, and shows he is able to attract players very easily to the club. No last minute haggling, he is getting the deals done early. Not of this one minute to 10 rubbish on the last day of the deadline, and then no players ever turn up.

Steven Bergwijn is the latest addition to the squad, following from the loan deal for Gedson Fernandes and the making permanent the deal for
Giovani Lo Celso. Expect a striker in as well in the next 48 hours. The rebuild is in full swing, and I expect over the next two or three windows the Spurs team will look very different to how it started this season. Out with with old, and in with the new is Jose`s motto by the look of it. He can see the problems, and will overtime rectify the problem positions.

All looking a lot more positive now than three months back.

Spurs may have missed a trick though over buying Jack Grealish when they had the chance to, looks like he is really coming into his own now. And his price will have probably doubled now. Also wouldn`t surprise me if United didn`t go in for him. But I suppose you cannot win them all.

Still need a left back, and a midfield enforcer though, but expect that is not going to happen this window. Wait until the Summer, and then bring in real quality with a big spend.

COYS

PS So much for Spurs not having any money to buy new players. I reckon Daniel Levy is funding these transfers from the loose change of the Bar Takings, which must be huge.

Is Jose showing his influence?
Gedson Fernandes is yet to be seen.
Lo Celso was Pochettino's man.
Bergwyn(?)... who knows, haven't seen him yet.
Levy has put a limit of 10GBP on transfers, but has not said if that includes the Eriksen transfer money, so maybe its more?
I would say Levy runs the ship and jose eats crumbs from Levy's table. .

We were looking at Bergwyn 2 years ago, so probably more a Levy signing than a Mourinho one.

He was never going to move if Villa got promoted. Might be worth a bid if they go down.

Why aren’t we signing the positions we are desperate for? It’s weird.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Probably because they are not available in this window. They will be addressed in the Summer.

I’m sure we can rely on Daniel levy to sign all the positions we desperately need in the summer

It in honest the MR at the moment is the biggest problem , it's so weak , hence why he has brought 3 mf.

Defensive midfield is weak. We have got lots of attacking minded midfielders and a winger
