Cal👍

I know you left the politics election thread, but just a heads up!

Few regulars are posting about personsl family mental health issues and as i had one of my old poor sleep nights, i came accross it just now at 3am 😢

They may benefit from your experiences and knowledge, mate, but no pressure dude👍😀

Sounds like Hawk and Insert have brothers who perhaps you could relate to or assist?

Sorry if I have overstepped the mark.

am not responsible for slavery or apartheid or segregation or racism....historically or today.

I'm not disagreeing with this sentiment of course but still, you live in a world that is entirely shaped by those things and you are living under those influences, whether you like it or not. That's decision was made for you many years ago.

Not just racism or apartheid alone, but all social issues (wealth and distribution of it, locally and internationally is an issue at all levels of society) have contributed each their part to leave us where we are today.

Just because someone isn't responsible for something doesn't mean they can act like it didn't actually happen. It all happened, and its precisely because of it that we are where we are.

Opinion or action that goes against that is a denial of the world you find yourself born into IMO.

Kloppy.

You don't get it from my perspective.

In Belfast and Ireland and many parts of England and wales and Scotland, everyone is white and it has only changed in recent years, so the white privilege thing did not apply.

Seriously, if you compare life between a POC in London and a Belfast of Glasgow person, I doubt the Belfast or Glasgow kid has a head start.

That does not mean racism is not a thing and I would also ask why Africa or ME have not looked after people there and progressed like the West?

When is the cut off point blaming white people for everything.???

He's a fud.

I listened to that interview on 5live, he was asked about the border in the Irish sea, he said "meh, everything is up for discussion when it comes to trade".

Sorry matey, your boss was so desperate to "get Brexit done" he signed a legally binding treaty, not the back of a cigarette packet, that said there will be a border in the Irish sea. Not even Theresa May thought that was a good idea.

The GE result affirmed that many people are happy being lied to.

Or preferred pathological liars over Corbyn

IBS and his ilk will never take responsibility and always look for someone else to blame.

The Brexit negotiating team is who the British f*cking government has selected.
