Cant complain with it being quiet,

We’ve got cover in/different options for a team that’s 3rd, and as we don’t have any big players going for our big players

Bridcutt has gone to Lincoln, great move all round, far too good to sit around twiddling his thumbs, hope it works out for him, he deserves the chance.👍

Bostock won’t be going as Toulouse (his parent club) won’t let it happen, guess he’ll just sit around picking up his wages and wasting his and our time, pity, another one who deserves to be playing regular football.
Strange one is why have we kept Muric, surely Man City want him to get game time, no way he will oust Samba, another season wasted for the lad, only losers all round.☹️

We need a back up keeper so not wasted if Samba gets injured or racks up yellow cards from time wasting.

Bostock is an odd one but he does get on bench fairly regularly.

Adomah went to Cardiff which is probably for the best

Definitely strange about muric. Sounded like Man City moved a lot of things around so he could get game time but now theyre happy for him to sit around as 3rd choice at club other than his.

I suspect that City will have struggled to find another club to take Muric and pay what we have been paying. Who would take him seeing that he is third choice at a Championship club.

I expect the manager has had a word with Samba and told him not to make his timewasting so obvious. But it seems they are happy for Jordan Smith to step up if necessary or is Steele available on a short notice recall?

A bit of an ‘odd’ window all round, we didn’t really strengthen the squad, got rid of some fringe players, but those apart it was something of a wasted opportunity, one which we may regret in May. Had we got in a ‘recognised’ striker and ‘wide’ man, we would have given ourselves a real good chance, but I think our lack of goals will catch up with us, especially seeing teams like the Wendies managed to get in both Wickham and Windass, the latter I think would have been a shrewd acquisition by us. However, it is what it is and we will see whether things turn out for the better or not. Still can’t help but think we have missed a trick here, but then again no other championship team did much business so the ‘status quo’ has been maintained overall.
