Wanyama

Spurs are considering a mutual termination of Victor Wanyama’s contract.

If this is so, he can then move to any club as a free agent. Sadly he has not been at his best for over two years and his fitness levels are a major concern.

My most abiding memory will be the goal he scored at Anfield after coming on as a substitute. Nearly took the net off, if the keeper had been in the way then I think he would have finished in the stand, such was the power of the shot.

If he does go, then I wish him well finding a new club. Cheers Victor

Surely you should be able to make footballers redundant

I listened to that Anfield match on 5 live with moaning Robbie Savage. His commentary went (from memory) 'why has Pochettino made that sub? Dembele was running the game for them. Wanyama offers nothing by comparison. I just dont understand what Pochettino is playing at here. WHAT A GOAL!!!!!!!'

Sad news if true. At his best he was a fantastic player and a key part of our team. Shame injuries have ruined his career. I wish him all the best and hope he can get back to full fitness somehow.

His knee is facked, even Celtic wouldnt touch him.

Sad, but its probably best that he leaves for the good of everyone, he isn`t going to play for Spurs barring a massive injury crisis.
