Today`s match with Man City is

in all probability pretty well meangingless, with the imminent threat of closure of the league for the season, due to the worsening situation re the Coronavirus. Probably the Government should have acted a couple of weeks ago, but better late than never I suppose.

That said, a decent performance would not go amiss. City to me are still the best footballing outfit in the division, but Spurs have had some recent success over them, including knocking them out of the CL last season, so wouldn`t be beyond the realms of possibility that Spurs get a win this afternoon. City have gone off the boil a bit, and Spurs do seem to be picking up a tad. Frankly though the game could go either way.

This is a bit of a free hit for Spurs, and I am sure they will have their eyes on what I consider the bigger game of the week, the replay against Southampton on Wednesday, so wouldn`t be surprised if Jose rests a few with that game in mind.

Anyway whatever let`s hope for a good game, no VAR, no 10 men behind the ball, no dives, no over the top tackles, no poor referring decisions. For once let`s have a good clean game of football, without any contentious decisions. And may the best team win. COYS.

Meaningless

Surely your goal is top 4

City may well have other things on their mind now they know realistically the league is done..

Lots of goals and a good game, don’t care who wins.

We`ll get gubbed unfortunately, when they are all fit City are the best team in the league and don`t rely on the officials to swing games in their favour, they dismantle teams with brilliant football.

It will be a very difficult match and I`d take a draw right now if it was offered.

Imagine you take a University student from China to Anfield, and then you declare to the press that your mate has a virus, though you're not sure what it is?

So all the things you did not want you got?

VAR over the top challenges penalties the only good thing was that we got 3 points

No thanks to Aurier btw who gave the penalty away or to Sanchez who seemed determined to set Aguero up whenever he could
