Nev have a guess what i am going to say

Well after another weekend of great goalkeeping performances take the Wolves chap for one, We are stuck with a keeper who keeps his place becouse of what?

1. He is a Top three keeper in this league?
2. He is a talisman for the team?
3. He is untouchable?

I was willing to give a chance this season but no more game after game he is targeted Ndidi's penalty happened through a poor punch how many times has he come for the ball flapped and missed.

Can you imagine kasper catching the ball either from a shot or cross under pressure?

So has BR got the balls help his defence? will he have a series of illness's like Morgan ?

It's sad to say the stalwalts of the winning team Morgan,Albrighton and Kasper are coming to the end of their LCFC career?

Vardy's dip in form maybe because he is not fully fit? Ether way I would prefer a fully fit Natcho man.

Hope this rest help everybody including me!

Florida - Chilwell didn't get dropped for form; he got punished for one match for missing a training session. As for Lampard dropping Kepa, let that be a lesson: Caballero cost them a goal on Saturday.

Nev - You really don't think life is easier for the centre backs when they know what the guy behind them is going to do?

Thorney - We're here discussing this because Nev's Schmeichel issues long out-date a lowering in form that does not represent the crisis it's being made out to be.

When your centre backs know they have to cover for everyball six inches off the goal line i bet they are very happy. Most Centre halfs i played with where very happy when i clattered them out the way as long as i had the ball. Dung i said i was trying to get over my KP issues but if you cant see that he's not performing to the new levels the club are setting i can't help that.

As another point its no coincident that when we had Kante and a in form Niddi in front of him when he looks at his best.

By that logic, everyone who has a couple of off games should be dropped. If you can't see how unsettling that would be, particularly for a defence and communication as well as predictability, then I can't help that.

I’d say you’re a bit out of form on 606 right now Dunge. Admin could do with dropping you for a couple of games to motivate you into sitting on the fence again

So, I think we’re all agreeing that some tactical tweaks could help a few players including Kasper.

But tweaks is the right word - we don’t need wholesale changes and we certainly don’t need to stop Kasper unless his form really does suffer more.

The reality is that teams have worked out how to play our weakness rather than worrying about our strengths. Since Norwich showed the league how to press us high and exploit the space in behind our night full backs we’ve struggled.

Since then, Burnley showed you could trouble Kasper by putting the ball right in the 6 yard box and we’ve struggled against the deep block.

So, what do we need? We need more protection for a Kasper on set pieces. We need to defend our area better when our full backs push on, and we need to link the defence, midfield and attack better. We also need to get an in form Nacho in the game.

You know what all this adds up to don’t you? Come on Dunge, you know don’t you? Think about our latest signing. Height, defensive capability.... this all points to...

Den den deeeeeeeer.

THREE FIVE TWO.

Mersey defo think we’ll see more 3-5-2 if Wilf is out. Hope BR takes notice of how a right footed left back (Tanganga for Tottenham) stopped Mahrez cutting in as much as well for when we play Man City.

Kasper’s ‘drop in form’ is just part of the whole teams drop in form, there’s no definitive personal change, just the teams fortunes have changed.

I’m not surprised some will say Kasper is being targeted from corners, when we’ve got Evans and Soyuncu clearing every normal ball coming ala Morgan
And Huth they are just trying distraction tactics.

To ge honest I feel teams are targeting Chilwell more than anyone, his defensive efforts for both goals was pathetic , even against a bigger man most decent defenders will do ‘enough’ to put the attacker off, Chilwell May as well have been tying his shoelaces.

Shame we forget a draw against a top 4 Chelsea is still a decent result.

Agree Cupcake. I think we’ve seen enough now to know that 4-1-4-1 with Wilf is fine when we want to dominate teams but way too fragile against good sides.

Without Ndidi we simply can’t play it.

Rodgers has tried to alleviate this by going more 4-2-3-1 recently in Wilf’s absence, which worked fine against West Ham but looked suspicious again at the weekend. Also note how Vardy’s drop in form has come when we’ve played 4-2-3-1. It just doesn’t work for him.

3-5-2 could be a way of shoring things up until Ndidi is fully fit. Then we can mix it up in games where we need to win.

Wolves should be a good benchmark as to where we are right now. Win and it’s rosy, lose and I’m worried.

Brown Starr, you're looking a bit out of form yourself there. Far from competing with Ace, those are down as low as don_tottenham levels of sardonicism. The winter break can't come soon enough, it seems.
