Glad his gone if I'm honest , the players looked a lot more like a team Sunday , with Rose up north and Eriksen in Italy. Good luck to him.

Agree, I think Jose/Levy has done a good job removing these.
It was simillar when Poch came in and he had to get rid of a load of bad influences.
It's the first step in a rebuild.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Levy has done a so so job I would say considering they should have been moved on months ago, which you could argue contributed to Poch's poor form and eventual dismissal, as he wanted these players out.

Eriksen has been 100% honest from the start and the fans are a joke tbh. He gave 6 of his best years to us and won f all on a LOW (relatively) wage. Stupid entitled fans as always
----------------------------------------------------------------------
THIS ! Good luck to Eriksen. We have GLC now who is a great upgrade.

I think it definitely contributed, though Pochettino definitely didn't handle the situation well either.

Having read the interview I still appreciate that he was publicly honest even if it was sad to hear as a fan that he didn't want to stay at Spurs.
The downside for him was that Levy didn't sell him during the Summer window so he was forced to play with those comments out there - naturally a lot of Spurs fans didn't like his comments and looked negatively on him.
Let's face it, if he kept it to himself then the fans would still have loved him - damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Agree Spurtle, my Levy comment was more in isolation to the Jan situation and Jose first transfer window.
Absolutely agree they should have gone before this when Poch wanted them gone.

Problem is he was off form or disinterested for a season and a half coinciding with the teams demise this with his comments naturally made him the scapegoat rightly or wrongly. You cannot really blame the fans.

Only one person to blame - Levy

He's not though.
Potential to be about the same level but he's nowhere near the level of Eriksen at his peak at Spurs at the moment.

different player. Eriksen could never CM at his peak, hates to tackle. GLC gives us more options than Eriksen ever did. But yes, in terms of assists Eriksen was great for us.
