Auto Promo Hopefuls: Fixtures

Updated July 2nd with 6 games STILL to play.
Getting down to the crunch end of the season with despair for some clubs

In any normal 6 game span of form, in this current Championship at this time, might give a maximum points return of 15 at best for teams in really top form. With just an poor performance a return of around 7 pts for a lower table team would be the norm.

Using these assumptions we would get the Maximum and Minimum totals as follows. This shows.. Team &Pts, Max, Min, GD and in brackets a likely average of 11 pts from 6 games for top 5 teams.

So 5 wins for Brentford very possible with fixtures to come would give them 84pts. To top that given their GD then 85pts would for Leeds(10pts) or WBA (11pts) to get promo. That looks beyond Nottm F and Fulham now.

Table below shows:
Current TEAMS and POINTS of those in top 5 place at present although I think Fulham and Nottm F have too much to do for top 2.

"HOME" .. games in CAPITALS
"away" ..away games in lower case.
** show games against other "AutoPromo or Playoff chance" teams
DATES are subject to change.
we..... means weekend games
mid ......for midweek games
BUT there are very few "easy games" with relegation, even administration just round the corner !

Well here is an update to indicate how well placed Leeds and WBA are. Games are running out and I cannot see either team blowing it up.

Leeds and WBA both nailed on certs for the 2 Sutomatic places

There no chance of any of the chafing pack to catch either of them 👍🏼

Well how are those February early predictions coming along for early comments to this thread. Some looking good Sir Ken seating on having to pay out £200 perhaps ?

You're definitely in with a chance!.

Even the person at work only needs west Brom and Leeds to switch and Forest and Brentford to switch. Forest will drop down I suspect

They essentially had 6 chances. Order of all 5 or getting any individual clubs points total correct. Leeds is their best chance. Fulham have to win all 3 to do it!
