Financial penalties coming?

Reports in the press today of financial penalties that United will apparently have to pay back to various sponsors such as Adidas IF we fail to qualify for the Champions League for the second season running.

Whilst Gazer(s) obviously doesn't pay any attention to the growing concerns of their own and very loyal fan base and the 75K match-going supporters and whilst their own (pre-paid) Season Ticket holders, club members occasional supporters, and day-trippers will always decline to make token gestures of any kind in the way of an organised protest against the current owners shambolic administration of the club in recent seasons (as the totally ignored, planned 68th minute walkout at the recent Wolverhampton game at Old Trafford proved) maybe it will take inroads into the Glazers 'bottom line' which will make them eventually wake-up and smell the coffee.

Thoughts?

Any financial penalty we will have to pay will be supplemented when we inevitably sell of the name Old Trafford.

Always saw a certain irony in Chevrolet sponsoring you in the last few years

two lumbering lumps that have had better days...

" Consumer Reports ranks Chevy among the least reliable car companies. Going by 2019 Consumer Reports rankings, Chevrolet ranked 23rd among 29 car brands evaluated. That made Chevy vehicles seventh-worst overall. ... Again, that was worse than Chevy's finish in 2016, when it also did not place among the 10 best brands."

It’s a £25m reduction from Adidas for two successive seasons out of the CL. That may sound like a lot, but we lose more from not actually qualifying for the CL alone, and that hasn’t made them wake up and smell the coffee given our persistent failure to qualify.

What’s more worrying is that they’ll tighten the purse strings, to mitigate the losses, without changing their approach.

The board have made 3 bad managerial appointments post SAF

All 3 of the 4 managers post SAF have have signed some stinkers at great expense.

Many of the current squad arent title winning standard, and the 1 or 2 that are have underperformed (to differing degrees)

In short there are many to blame for our current position, however a new manager is the most immediate change possible.

Go get Poch Woodward, before he goes else where and we end up with another Moyes, LVG or Ole

Not sure it will mean tightening the purse strings. It hasn't stopped them before.

The one thing we can't complain about is the Glazers not spending cash.
