its low, but then again TAA is on 40k a week so 60k is high too. 15k would be fair if say it has a clause that if he makes x amount of first team appearances over x amount of time it will double/triple w.e. Or even just slap in a big appearance fee.

id expect the player and his agent to know they hold all the cards atm. No way even Levy would risk losing your top talent for pennies.

Even i can't complain about Levy on this one. Seems to make sense on all sides. He's still pretty raw but seems to love spurs having been there since he was a kid. The Club also has a good track record of bumping contracts of young players the more and more they play. See no reason why he wouldn't sign it and that Spurs would do the right thing as he improves and gains more experience

Are people really moaning about an 18 year old with a handful of appearances "only" getting £15k a week? Stupid.

To get it into perspective - £20k per week is a Million per year!

In fact, it's more than a million by £40k - and that £40k difference makes a decent YEARLY salary for Average Joe

Just goes to show what a ridiculously rarefied atmosphere footballers live in, where £40k is such a comparatively small figure that it can be pretty much ignored

There will always be bonuses and other incentives.

I remember when Dean Parrett moved from QPR. For a 15 year old the transfer fee was enormous around £2m.

On top of his salary, which would have been similar to Tanganga's I reckon - his family got a house bought for them by the club.
