Rumours that Barca want to offload coutinho this summer seem.to make sense. Hasn't worked our for him and he seems to be "just another player" now.
So here's my stance on this:
Couts left to fulfil his dream to play for Barcelona, I won't have a dig at anyone for going after their dreams; his departure wasn't brilliant but it was the terrible either and as I recall the last season with us he played a blinder and scored some cracking goals.
Liverpool have evolved and become faster more efficient since Couts left and have overtaken the Spanish giants as "the" club in Europe right now. No question in my mi D if we wanted him he would defo come back...100%.
Coutinho hasn't thrived under the barca scrutiny or played anywhere near his liverpool days, maybe he was at the right club after all in liverpool and he now probably realises this, he knows the club some of the players and the manager and is probably watching on thinking....I left that at precisely the wrong time!
I think question has changed now though....it's not what coutinho wants but rather do liverpool need coutinho now, a complete reversal of when coutinho left when he had world at his feet.... now liverpool hold all the cards.
I would have him back as I think he will be better than the last time we had him and he would improve our group with the inevitable departures of few mf players.
He could slot in straight away and if you recall the link up between him and firmino was brilliant. What a bench addition he would be as well, having the option of a coutinho to come on can only be a good deal in my view. I remember his contribution to knocking utd out of Europa and beating dortmund, smashing city at the Etihad and his free kicks.....he has a lot to offer us and also a few more Brazilian friends to link up with.
Coutinho back? Yes no?

yes baz but i've followed keita in the german league and was always impressed with his skill set and wanted to see how he measured up in the pl.
christ i watch a lot of football.

Yes. People forget how good we were them last few months before he left going forward. We now have a defence in place to match that. Hes another fantastic option that could come in and should settle very quickly. For me its a no brainer.
