One of the most passionate players we've had in a while. Sorely miss that side of him. Massively miss
the defensive dominance side of him.

"They could have easily fined him and moved on."

Oh, you mean while he was trying to get players,(international players!)to back him!..

What a way to keep the changing room in order, have your top players going against the club, but, I don't think I've ever heard of other players from other teams thinking while they're away with their National team they're entitled to an extended holiday when they come back!..

Can a club refuse to let its players play for their National teams?..

I may be wrong but I don't think they can, but when players do like he has tried more tham once, than the club should be allowed to stop players playing for their Country!..

Than players wouldn't be able to come back to their club and expect what others dont get, rules are there for the whole team, not just one player, so he should abide by what I'm sure is in all players contracts and done his job with the rest of the team!..

That way he would still be a Leeds player!..

Jonty, AR and Elland Road!..

If I'm not mistaken you were one of the biggest slaggers about Bates and Cellino giving time tables that they didn't/couldn't stick to!..

AR buys the Stadium back and is the biggest crapdigger alive for doing so, you should think on, he's only done what you,(and most others!)wanted!..

Oh, and the most others a lot of are here going against what they wanted before AR came in, people should make up their minds as to who they support as far as the Stadium goes!..

I wonder how many of the slaughterers here gave the two before him hell for not doing what he has done, its a case of doing and getting hung, and not doing getting hung, AR was the loser whichever way he did it!..

Let’s get our facts straight eh, I praised AR for buying back ER I criticised other for saying and not doing,

Jonty, I know you praised him at the start, but sinse you've said a lot against it!..

Like I said, people got at the two before him for not buying, now,(and some are the ones that weren't happy before the Stadium was bought back!)are having a go at him for buying it back!..

Buy it he loses, doesn't buy he loses!..

And the rent that's coming, the owners,(AR!)have to get that money back to ballence the books from wherever that money came from!..

So whatever way people want to look at it, rent has to be paid!..

No I have not said a lot against it.

I've posed the point once before that perhaps money could have been better spent on players at that time and also asked what the financial liabilities would be as the club made out that the club saves on rent, only to then find out in the accounts that we will indeed be paying rent again.

I am not against the buying back of ER, I am against the owner buying it with a third party and green still charging the club rent and then complaining we have no money for players.

When AR bought ER ( I don’t say back as club don’t own ER) I questioned that was money spent wisely then or fans would prefer it spent on players.

Could have built a better squad, gotten promoted bought ER back by club not AR and not now be facing rent payments to owner.

Rent replaced by mortgage and other costs of owning real estate?

What’s the difference?

Jonty, take a look at rent expense in the last set of accounts and compare to prior years.

What do you see regarding ER?

posted on 10/2/20

Regarding Jansson, totally a fan favorite but expected preferential treatment compared to other internationals

Regarding Roofe, wanted wages comparable to Bamford. Some say they should have paid him but do they then do with the next guy who wants the gap closed? Should they have not bought Bamford? Then everyone would have been s freaking they did not sign a forward.

It’s so easy being a Monday morning expert!

and then they offer Dallas, Ayling and Cooper long term deals which east into any profit made from Roofe, which was small actually bearing in mind there was a sell on clause.
