I’ve no issues running on a small squad, I get the idea and prefer to huge squad.
But to have a squad of 20 pros that include the following
Foreshaw
Cooper
Ayling
Bamford
Roberts
Pablo
Douglas
All have a history of missing large chunks regular.
It’s criminal

Good God if Poveda's on 10 grand a week I might puke.

19 year old with 1 game under his belt.
Should be on a few hundred quid a week. A grand at most. As soon as you learn it’s going to be a multi million pound gamble you move on. If he’s on 25k a week that’s a contract worth £5.8million he’s been given. Brentford would have signed 4 top players for that.

Its sickening Kebab. Club cry about having no money and then p. 1. zs it all away on the dumbest contracts for nothing players. Incredible.

Yep. And still Ouasim Bouy spends his days holidaying in the sun.

We've ran along with this dodgy strategy for far too long - the Izzy Brown fiasco last year, finally killed it for me - club hoping to have a 'saviour' towards the end of the season - played 20 minutes against Direby?
Gambles on players that were once 'ok/ competent' but only available due to questionable fitness otherwise we wouldn't have got a look in.
I would rather the club did without and chance the youngsters.

Foreshaw, Klich and Phillips in midfield is far far too sterile and zero creativity

I do agree. Although that can depend on the quality from full back, wings and striker.
Look how good Liverpool are and their midfield 3 are usually workmanlike (Henderson, Wijnaldum and Fabinho etc)
And yes...I appreciate their attacking options are a lot better than ours.

Brentford also wanted to sign Poveda

We dream the same dream
We want the same thing
And all that we need is to see it together.

We looked a more solid team when Forshaw was playing. Back then it was Pablo or Costa in the side.
We now carry both of them defensively.

Brentford work two windows in front and everything is done on stats they might watch a player once but by then the decision is made,
Our recruitment this window was poor it’s fairly obvious the two players we thought we were getting or hoped we were are not what we’ve got and surely the club must have known Forshaw was crocked and planned accordingly bearing in mind McCalmont has been injured as well,
