Leeds Utd v Bristol City Matchday Thread

Welcome to the Matchday Thread, after a good performance at Griffin Park on Tues night heres hoping we can replicate that kind of quality at Elland Road and give on form Bristol a bit of a Bielsa Battering
Hope Wells keeps his hands in his pockets

Venue...Elland Road...Date...Sat 15th Feb....Kick Off...15:00hrs

Team News
Leeds United
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that Kiko Casilla will start in goal against Bristol City, despite his error in Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Brentford.

Second-placed Leeds have no new injury concerns for the visit of the Robins.

Bristol City
Bristol City will select from the same squad that beat Derby on Wednesday.

Nahki Wells, Markus Henriksen and Filip Benkovic all made their first starts in the 3-2 home win over the Rams.

Match facts
Leeds have lost just one of their last 15 league games against Bristol City (W12 D2 L1), winning the last three in a row.
Bristol City have lost seven of their last eight away games against Leeds (D1) in all competitions since a 3-1 win in November 1979.
Leeds have conceded nine goals in their last five home league games (W1 D2 L2), having conceded just four in their opening 10 at Elland Road this season (W7 D2 L1).
During his league managerial career, Bristol City manager Lee Johnson has only lost more games against Preston (9) and Wolves (6) than against Leeds (5).
Pablo Hernandez has been directly involved in seven goals in six league appearances against Bristol City for Leeds United (three goals, four assists).

Here we go then, another tough game despite Leeds having the 12th man behind them i can see Bristol being well up for this (despite being in 7th place theres only 3 points in it )
Confidently expect Leeds to kick on from where they left off against Brentford and to claim the points with a 2-0 win Bamford to score both and Casilla to keep a clean sheet with his best performance of the season

Kalvin by far the best player on the park, break did him the world of good.

Morrison said he was the best on the park. Also said Kev tried but looks well unfit.

Told ya to go all out for Woodrow in January. Anyway, you're welcome. Not been on much as my mum is having chemo, after losing my dad to it 11 months ago.
You will do it this season. Had your bad spell. Onwards and upwards ladies and gentlemen.

We should have got Woodrow in. Someone ready to play unlike JKA.

Hope you stay well. I lost my mother back in September, my sister has been ill for a year and a half. Take time for yourself

Will pal. She’s had MRI and she’s clear. Just been a poor 12 months and puts thins into perspective
