Torreira, Xhaka, Ceballos

DM, CM, CAM respectively, is the MF trio to go forward with. For the short term at least, that trio provides the closest we can get to the best of both worlds. It's the most defensively sound combo whilst also being the one most likely to produce goals in attack.

We were only so convincing in the second half because Xhaka began playing Ceballos into the fray, instead of wasting his time giving it to Ozil. He done that in the first half and we just got the same impotent attack rubbish we've seen all season. As soon as he let Ceballos start dictating the attack instead, it was game on.

We need Ceballos' creativity in attack but he's too lightweight to play from CM, also somewhat wasted there due to sitting deeper. If Torreira and Xhaka can provide quick ball all day for Ozil to squander, then they can damned sure provide it for Ceballos to do useful things like today. Xhaka is far more settled and a far better player with Torreira at DM and him CM. Not just saying this due to over excitement at a good Ceballos showing, have believed he should be in for ages now. Today he's put in a showing that heavily hints as to why. Torreira the enforcer and engine, Xhaka the metronome and Ceballos the creator. That IS our best MF bet if we want plenty of goals scored, whilst conceding fewer due to being able to control a MF.

* Not forgotten Guendouzi at all. He factors in with plenty of appearances off the bench and EL etc starts. For now he's still too hotheaded and 'youngster rambunctious.' Meaning for now anyway, a Torreira backed Xhaka, is the better starting option at CM. But only for now.

It was Newcastle

Newcastle were 8 games unbeaten though and they have beaten Spurs, Chelsea and Man U this season. It's also the first time in the league this season Arsenal have beaten a team by more then a 2 goal margin!

Ozil was sh!t until Ceballos all I am unlocked the game for him in the second half (after he pulled his usual disappear to the wing act and Xhaka stopped giving him the ball). And damned right I have a problem with Ozil. He's apparently turned 3/4 of the Arsenal fan base into blind or stupid MUGS!

You lot get sucked in by the again and see the club lumbered with his fecked up wages crippling us another two years. It really is unbelievable, he's utter crap for 20 odd games, with his momentum killing sh!t. Stalling attacks all over the gaff (AGAIN TODAY). Ceballos finally gets to play, unlocks the game for us to get a 4-0 win and everyone praises Ozil, like it was HIS passing that got the job done. HIS passing was the FIRST half. You know, when we were getting FECK ALL attack wise.

SUCKERS!

No one gets sucked up by Özil. When a player has a decent game you should notice for once. If not you can slate him and come up with the same old bollox. That's all.

Ozil was mom, look at his stats and key passes

In first half he was only one doing anything of note

Well ya looking pretty sucked in to me. I never wrote the article as an Ozil bash, it was to make the point about Ceballos starting instead of him because that is what gives us the best defensive strength/attacking incision, balance in the MF.

But you lot had to chime in and start giving Ozil more credit for the result than him. Hence what followed.
As I see it the praise and congrats for the win is essentially being accredited to a "Sublime" Ozil performance. Yet in the game I watched, Ceballos was the difference maker NOT Ozil. That game and this thread are a microcosm of Ozil's first season, he set a record and all the hype was around him and how he was the mega maestro we'd couped in the market, everyone was Ozil mad.

Theeeen Cazorla got injured and the whole world found out who Arsenal FC's TRUE maestro was. If you people weren't so starved of, desperately looking to see and rave about, decent play from Ozil. Then maybe you'd notice outstanding play when it comes from the players around him. Then maybe next time you all end up hype demanding the club offers the bank buster contract, to THE RIGHT PLAYER! Ya know the one who ACTUALLY bakes the tasty win cakes (the Cazorla). Instead of the 'window dressing' who only puts the cherries on the top (the Ozil!).

But yeah, don't let your own prejudices derail your article that most definitely isn't about a player you never ever stop banging on about...

So what? It's a BS twitter vid made by some clown who loves Ozil and left out all the times he cut the wrong way, stalling breaks to nothing and never included a disclaimer stating the opposition MF GAVE Ozil free reign to do as he liked. As with all these vids, it also fails to show the THOUSANDS of minutes he has already acted as AFC deadwieght. They never show him stepping out of the way, letting the opposition MF glide by him with the ball or not tackling/pressing either.

I wrote the article about the 3 mentioned in the title. Ceballos had a great game and I thought some people might have seen passed a couple of passes and a flick from Ozil, to notice it too. It's YOU lot that started banging on about Ozil being great. So of course I'm slating him now. After people post on an article I write about 3 other players and yet again attempt to say either Ozil deserves fans faith to be playing or that it's the best tactical decision. Because anyone saying that has already been proven wrong by 5 years of Ozil history.

Stop trying to justify/validate Ozil's presence in the team because there's actually no true justification for it. Unless your objective is continuing the tone of the last 5 years. Thought the whole point of all this was for us to CHANGE what had been going wrong. CAN'T do that reliably AND start Ozil HE IS one of the biggest things that has been wrong!

A far better source than a twitter fanboy, also a far more accurate representation of just whom was the game's standout Arsenal MF. Quite a few out there too. People just need to be interested in seeing something other than than S.O.P "Ozil TWITter hype" crap. Posted by his blind disciple followers, who don't actually watch entire games, other than fast forwarding through them to find the clips for their dumb vids.
