For the first few years we ran with Glasgow Children's Hospital as our unofficial JA charity of choice. It is a charity that has a place in the hearts for many of us.
Last year we took a vote and opted to switch to St Andrews Hospice to support them specifically in the great work they did to support Fernando Ricksen in his fight with MND.
It was my assumption that we would revert to Glasgow Children's Hospital this year, however, it has been suggested that we go elsewhere such as Prostate Cancer - 1 in 6 of us will likely suffer from it in our lifetime.
This is not my charity event but ours so it should be a majority decision.

Sticking with the 1 in 6 thing
How about for every £6 we raise well give £1 to prostate and £5 to the childrens hospital

Nice idea Joe but I'm not keen to dilute the funds otherwise we'd end up with 20 great causes and as zach said they end up with a tenner each

Agreed. Dilution isn't great. Better to do something meaningful.
