No Holmes to go to.

Derby will have no Holmes to go to, to provide defence scaring runs on Friday.

He'll be out for a few weeks according to Coco. With Evans, Beilik and Huddlestone still sidelined who'll accompany Rooney and Bird in Midfield?

The annoying thing is that Josefzoon did that sort of thing for fun at Brenford but has done nowt here.

It'll be Knight I expect and in all honesty if the other three were fit I'd probably still pick the young Irishman.

Any other opinions are welcome.

Thats if we go with a four Spart.

I'd go 433.

Shinnie on the bench and Waghorn Martin and Lawrence up top.

That's how i'd go.

I would prefer that as well Rameses.

Knight to run himself in to the ground for 70 minutes. Then bring on Shinnie for the last 20 just because we have nobody else. Marriott on in the last 20 minutes, especially if we have a narrow lead. His pace helps by the opposition always having to leave at least two men back to prevent the goal on the break. Either that or a tame referee like the one against udders who gave a foul every time the ball was passed to Marriott.

More concerned about wing backs. Losing confidence in Bogle's defensive capabilities. Forsyth was back to his can't play a pass to a Derby player mode on Saturday. I would bring back Lowe for Forsyth and hope Wisdom has recovered.

We need to have a look at how Barnsley beat Fulham last week. Perhaps it's because they have problems in defence with 3 centres backs out.

I think getting crosses in will be key so maybe Bogle, hopefully he's learned to switch on this week and Fozzie. I'd prefer Wisdom at centre half if he's fit as Davies worries me with the ball at his feet.

Hamer to return and we'll see if we have enough to stop Mitrovic.

Barnsley won mainly because the Fulham keeper went stark staring bonkers. He is as bad as ours.

Did you mean to call Cocu Coco, or was it another slip? Just wondered because I got told off for doing this.

The only change I would make is Knight for Holmes, I don't agree with Spart about the left back position, I think Forsyth is our best left back.

I'm pretty sure Coco/u will make several changes and will no doubt drop my favourite Chris Martin.

P.S. Of course I'd put Hamer back in, he isn't quite as bad as Roos.

I think a period out of the team would do Bogle good.

Was going to write an article last night but the only pun for a title I could think of was “Not ideal, Holmes”. On reflection it was better than this one.

Knight for Holmes, surely. Alternatives might also be Sibley, Josefzoon or even Bogle in that position. I wouldn’t want either of the last two but Sibley on the bench at least because he can run with the ball.

Forsyth has been very good lately for me and I would stick with him for now. Davies or Wisdom (if fit) to try to keep Mitrovic quiet? Difficult one. I would just go for Wisdom and give Bogle a chance to redeem himself.

Hamer
Bogle Wisdom Clarke Forsyth
Rooney Bird
Knight
Waghorn Martin Lawrence

yes but you should drop the comma Vidal.

I fancy Bogle in that position. He can run with the ball and is quick. He's not so good at crosses. Almost always finds the first defender. He often creates down the wing only for it to fizzle out. He merits a place in the side. Defence would be OK with Wisdom, Clarke, Davies and Forsyth. Midfield would be great with Rooney, Bird and Bogle. Plenty of wisdom and some good legs.
