Racism Won.

Says Antonio Rudiger.

Thoughts?

Think Rudiger comes across poorly here. Spurs conducted a thorough investigation and found no evidence. Has he not considered he mistook chants for something else?

Absolutely no issue with him reporting what he thought he heard but the investigation is concluded and there's no evidence.

In every other racist incident immediately after the game there are photos of the culprit. He's obviously mistook something and should accept the findings of the investigation.

Just because the OP has filtered your racist a$$, doesn't mean everyone else here has to comment on your article

What are you actually hoping to achieve here? Drum up another argument, share your racist views?

If you actually read what Rudiger said instead of condemning him, you’d see he’s taken issue with being “made the scapegoat”, ie being booed by Tottenham fans for reporting what he genuinely thought was racism and the investigation not being able to reach any conclusions.

So the issue here clearly isn’t Rudiger, it’s the Tottenham fans who booed Rudiger for doing the right thing and reporting what he, rightly or wrongly, thought was racist abuse

There is no evidence so the case is dropped

More concerned that Son was racially abused and it went dead silent after.

The big problem we face as a species is that we’re unwilling to accept the fact that racism will be around so long as people have different shades of skin - that’s forever.

That’s not the same as saying ‘don’t deal with it’ - of course we should.

But then how do you deal with it ? I’m not sure I have the exact answer but Morgan Freeman said something not too long ago the need to stop talking about it.

It sounds almost ridiculous on the surface but on close inspection, I think he has the right attitude. We need to take away the power of racism - which is the offence and pain that it causes.

How do we get racism by skin to the same level as mocking someone’s hair colour? 2 forms of discrimination but one which has seen huge historical persecution, death and destruction. So what do we do about that fact, say in 100 years? Still be offended by the vile acts of people - notably in the 20th century?

If we continue to set racism apart from all other forms of discrimination, we depart from the logical path and undermine our cause to overcoming it.

To be honest, there’ll be many on here that will read this and be disgusted but big deal. It’s the conversation that’ll never take place but it’s the conversation that’ll have the greatest impact in my view.
