Was in Rome for the weekend and decided to go to the 2nd half of the Roma vs Lecce game at the Olimpico for the experience as tickets were only 25€.
Was a completely different experience to an English game. Walked in to find the majority of fans not at their designated seats with most standing and quite a few standing down at the very end of the stand. It’s also acceptable to drink in stands and there was quite a few fans smoking weed in the stands also.
Now there was large sections empty but we were close to the one stand that was full of die hards and have to admit it’s the best atmosphere I’ve witnessed live.
Having said that I can see how there is so much crowd trouble in Italy. There really didn’t be any rules in there. Still doesn’t excuse the horrible racial abuse though.
On a side note Smalling is playing very well for them.

Nah. Tbh only went for the experience and had other things to do so 45 mins was enough.
