Thank fk for that!

We lost a game in the league...good, all this blks about runs and invincibility can now go to bed; let's get on with getting back to playing well again it's been a while. We have been playing poorly for a few weeks.

Maybe it's the kick everyone needs to reboot and go again. Premier league
incoming but let's get back to it and start playing like we know we can.

Oh...BOOOOMMM. ...22 points clear

You talk about the power and creativity, yet that Arsenal team failed to beat teams on 13 occasions that season.
So not sure why your so sure they would beat this Liverpool team, who by the way are also current European champions, something that Arsenal team never managed to achieve.

---
Or maybe the league was more competitive that season where it was harder to beat teams, again comparing teams across different era's is difficult. I'm obviously going to be biast. Do I think a Arsenal's midfield that season is better than Liverpool's absolutely but ultimately it's a matter of opinion.

Arsenal were dropping points against the likes of Charlton, Leicester, Fulham, Portsmouth, Birmingham, Newcastle.
I doubt any of those teams would survive in this current version of the Premier league.

I mean do you seriously believe this current Liverpool team would drop points against those clubs as they were then, as regularly as that Arsenal team did?

Didn't have the same balance but managed not to lose

I still think that invincibles side would lose from this season pool side

what a shocking article

That Arsenal side didn’t have an unbeaten run as long as ours, even if it was in a complete season rather than across two. They also failed to win a CL.

Not even a contest.

We tend to romanticise about players of past years, truth is the likes of Pires, Giggs, Drogba et al were distinctly average in the grand scheme of things. Don’t think any came close to a balon d’or?

Very important lesson for Liverpool yesterday! Watford simply played Liverpool off the field and the cocky Reds were unable to respond. Their back line has been vulnerable for weeks, yet they managed to scrape out wins.
What was very interesting was the stumble/mumble post game interview from Klopp who appeared absolutely stunned.
He did however show a lot of class by congratulating the Watford manager before the game ended.

They’ve been out scored by City this season, so it’s not like they’ve being playing all this free flowing football the press will have you believe.

They’ve been very good, but to put them up there with the best PL teams is way off the mark.

They have also been out scored by Watford.
