You were literally moaning the other day about 70 plus folk being banned from sporting events. You even created an article about it.

I would abide by any ban for everybody. Just banning 70 year olds will not stop any spreading if the virus, that is what I was flagging up.

St Pats parades have been scrapped. Boston isn't having one now and Ireland have cancelled all.

Impossible to control really, yeah cancel concerts etc but that in itself isn't enough to contain anything and the government don't want to do drastic measures as if they do the economy tanks.

Exactly. I get it everyday and they’d have to ban that before they ban an outdoor event.

To be fair though, not banning it doesn't mean it is the correct decision. They are just trying to avoid day to day disruption whereas gigs, gatherings are one offs which can easily be managed.
