Surely the best idea would be to postpone the season for a few months. Cancel 2020/2021 season. Complete this season when it has blown over. Then play Euro 2020 in winter. Rearrange season times, and then it all falls into place for the 2022 World Cup in Winter.

One thing no one has really mentioned is if the league is extended into June/July, then a lot of players will leave on frees mid season when their contracts end. Loans will end, pre agreed transfers will go through. Will be mental.

Surely in that case they would just agree that the players stay until/leave after the final game is played, especially if it is going to be the same for all countries.

But if a player is out of contract and has a better one waiting, then why would he not see it through?

Usually 1-3 would be best however Liverpool have the title sewn up, just give them their trophy.

Playoffs for relegation and Europe seem fair.
