That delay until Monday is comical.

You can guarantee the words 'but it is the OF game on Sunday' were spoken as part of the decision making process.

Utterly ridiculous.

Only in Scotland would this happen. Waiting till after the biggest mass gathering this year to ban mass gatherings all for a football game.

The SNP are not fit to govern and have put money ahead of lives with this decision.

FORMER Celtic striker Chris Sutton has called it "s********** of the highest order" for the Scottish and UK governments to bring in a ban on sporting events attended by more than 500 people just hours after 50,000 are expected in Glasgow for the third Old Firm derby of the season.

The former Parkhead striker turned outspoken BT Sport pundit took to social media in the event of the news, seemingly implying that the restrictions should come into force straight away, rather than wait until Monday.

And? We should take out medical/civil emergency advice from Chris Sutton? FFS he was footballer/commentator and nowt much else. The reason for the 500 outdoor limit is to take pressure off emergency services.

What a stupid headline there in the Scottish Sun, almost as if its there to stir up panic...

The authorities had always planned to transition into a delay phase.

It's clear what team the SNP support. This decision favours one team and punishes the rest
