OK Spart, hopefully that might be the case. But here there have been conversations with Oswestry, which is a specialist elective orthopaedic hospital, and also with private hospitals, about using whatever capacity they might have of beds, staff and equipment. Intensive Care units will take a lot of the hit so there is a good chance that all anaesthetists will be redeployed away from their normal day work or from other hospitals to help out with their intensivist colleagues. It might be a few weeks away but all Trusts are starting to prepare and this is the sort of thing that is being looked at.

Yes I realise that Vidal, even if the day bed is available the staff possibly wont be, but as I said, I have to be optimistic on this. Number of Covid 19 cases in Doncaster so far, zero.

Spart, if they ask I would go for an epidural so you are awake and can keep an eye on what they are doing.

If you are having a TURP, it ain't too bad, I had one a few years ago. Had to stop my donations to the bank though.

Nope it's a hernia repair. They have put me on finasteride to shrink the prostate chemically. Had to go private to get the catheter removed and written a nasty letter to the trust chief executive about my treatment.

Spart, I think the Forest game will be either cancelled or played behind closed doors. In that case you will get a refund.
