Legends night

Great night last night with robbo, pallister and blackmore.

Very honest answers in the QA session and some great story's with things like pallister and fergie almost coming to blows and Keane and schmeichel scrapping in a hotel lobby.

Would highly recommend

Le Tiss was my fave player as a kid. Not a ruthless finisher but consistently pulled off more ‘wtf’ goals than most players

He sores some magnificent goals. Kudos for not seeking glory and being a home club guy too, hardly any of them about (that are good) .

Olé was pretty good too.

Aguero is right up there with the best PL strikers

I think with all the PL Years reruns we'll be watching over the next few months, Le Tiss may well be knighted in the New year's honours

Yep - I bet there’s a lot of people in this new generation who never saw him and don’t know how good he was

Score quite a few worldies, great dead ball specialist, free kicks and pens etc, overall football was okay, always looked like he was carrying too much timber

He definitely was carrying too much weight but still scored (and assisted) a huge number of goals, playing for an always poor team

Chris Waddle was another footballer I loved back in the day - his time at Marseille with Jean Pierre Papin (another great finisher - and a name I bet you haven’t thought of in years) was amazing

He was, but even more one trick than ruud, and not nearly as good at it. Though incredibly canny. Still, he’s easily cemented his place in utd history..

Hey, Ole could cross a ball too! No Beckham (still incredibly underrated as a player, due to everything surrounding it) but he could put a cross in and did a good job when played out wide.

Pity he's such a god awful manager 😉
