Jones is being linked with a move to Newcastle for £12m. West Ham may also be interested as they need players willing to put their bodies on the line.

What is it with ex Man U players buying Man U cast offs ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They follow United and think he may not be United level but he'll do well here?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Poor strategy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, our cast offs have been a universal disaster, haven’t they?
I mean, what have any of the likes of Zaha, Depay, Hernandez, Drinkwater, Evans, Fletcher, Lukaku, Michael Keane, Matty James, Blind, Heaton, King, Brown or O’Shea gone on to do?

But on the ball he is an accident waiting to happen
.....
It is still waiting to happen, just like that Red Card.

Disagree. He has made a few mistakes with the ball. Cost us against Arsenal last season and the one against city in 17/18 where he literally hoofed it everytime he got the ball was awful. He has also been lucky twice against Palace and Everton not getting a red. Both two footed tackles.

Yes Moyes and Bruce really made great signings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bruce bought Wes Brown and John O’Shea for Sunderland, who went on to make over 300 appearances for the club and helped keep them in the PL season after season in one of the most successful periods for the club in fifty years.
He also picked up Frazier Campbell, who was doing well until his cruciate ligament.
Moyes signed Paddy McNair. I don’t remember anyone else. Moyes is Moyes, though

You don't need to be an ex United player to sign Danny Pugh or Kieran Richardson tbf

Spread that over the games he has played and is that worse than anyone else?
