I write as a Gers fan of 50+ years but was irritated by our M.D's statement. As is common these days, plenty of things being opposed, but nothing being proposed. (Similar stuff from Hearts)
Most interesting suggestion - from Annan F.C. - would involve 2 clubs promoted from each division incl 2 added to the bottom division, but nobody relegated. Not ideal for all in its present form but could form the basis of a way forward, yet apparently instantly dismissed....why?
I get that club figureheads have to push their own clubs' interests but in these unprecedented times, let's have some positive suggestions put out for discussion instead of list of measures you deem unacceptable
