He was one half of the Pratingham duo that supposedly about to be bought by Forest? Until the Cardiff Chairman came out and stated that Forest hadn't made any approach?
RIP poor lad, still a youngster at that age.

Story is that he hasn’t actually died, but is in a critical condition

Reported on last night's news that Peter Whittingham has died in hospital after falling down a flight of stairs in a pub.
I remember him as a skilful footballer, rather like Joe Lolley, could dribble, shoot & cross.

Yep, it’s official now, although there were reports that he’d actually died a few days back

I suspect, they must have known back then that he wasn’t going to make it and wanted to put things in place before an official announcement

Very sad

Really sad news, I remember him as a really gifted footballer, excellent penalty taker, and a credit too his team. A shame we never did get too sign him, he would hav e been a real asset.
