OK I think are most in agreement

that the current season should finish. Not me personally, but I will go with the majority. So with that in mind every competition would then have to be finished to a conclusion, not just the Leagues.

Schedule going forward. Assuming that an elite team like Man City get their European ban at least delayed with an appeal, and they will be allowed into next season`s European Competition, and they will go to the final or very deep in most competitions, this season and next. This is what their fixture list could be looking like for them.

Have to be thinking along the lines the way things are going, that we will not see any football this year. So say starting in January next year 2021, bearing in mind that the Euros will start on 11 June next year, and you would probably need a month minimum between end of domestic seasons and start of the tournament, so say the domestic seasons end 11 May across Europe. So here goes on the schedule for say Man City.

Completion of Season 2019-20
League games 11
Possible 6 European matches
Possible 3 FA Cup matches

20 games to play to complete the season

Season 2020-21
League 38
European 13
FA Cup 6
League Cup 6

63 games for the season

Assuming they go to the finals, in all cup competitions, which seems pretty well the norm for them in recent seasons.

So assuming the season starts at beginning of January, and finishes at the 11 May, that gives about four and a half months to play possibly 83 games, or roundabout 20 games a month or a game every one and a half days.

That is a tough schedule. And totally unrealistic. But that is what you would get if this season is to finish. You cannot pick tournaments that finish and start. It has to be all or nothing.

Just think about it 80 odd games in a little over four months.

I am hearing that all European leagues must be complete by 30th June, if not then it is void. There is no possibility of finishing the season beyond the end of June, this from UEFA. Don`t shoot the messenger.

Season will be voided 100 per cent. Life and death are a lot more important than a football season finishing right now.

The Premier League are set to push for the season to be completed, if necessary behind closed doors if mass gatherings are still advised against.

It will be the likely outcome imo, I can't see how we can safely complete the season in time.

Even Glen Johnson is on Talkshiete saying the same, there no point disrupting next season as well as this one if you can leave all the mess in the current season.

The season will finish and to right. The financial implications are to big for it not to be. The situation with the coronavirus if it extends that far into the summer, which I personally don’t think it will, as I’m positive it will ease off by then, they will just have to play behind closed doors. Liverpool, you deserve you’re title and you will get it. Hopefully the world can eradicate this horrendous thing in the meantime. No new cases in Wuhan. South Korea have pretty much curbed it. It will be sorted this and we can get back to normal life.
