Uniting a nation

With the deep division in the country since 2016 the task of reuniting everyone was always going to be difficult. I am no Tory but I have always liked Bojo. Some are saying you would not wish covid on your worst enemies. I will go a step further and say apart from friends and family, Bojo is probably the one person I hope does not get seriously ill. The last thing any country needs right now and with the economy crisis looming is a power vacuum

Apart from the fact the response should have been 4 days quicker imo, I think Bojo and co have done well. Their hands may be forced, but this might turn out to be the most compassionate govt let alone Tory govt, or I hope so anyway. There is a lot to be done, and I am happy to see us united behind the NHS. Maybe this is the moment we also unite behind the govt.

Your lack of self awareness is amazing.

Philip Alston's report found that although the UK is the world’s fifth largest economy, one-fifth of its population – 14 million people – live in poverty, and 1.5 million of them experienced destitution in 2017, while close to 40 per cent of children are predicted to be living in poverty by 2021.

Talk about deep-rooted, unsubstantiated, uninformed, absolute statements showing your own ignorance

Really?

Deliberately under fund the NHS for the best part of a decade, to the point where the doctors can't even fecking receive masks to avoid contracting the virus whilst waiting on patients. Or even get tested properly?

How about the institutionalised racism that's been bubbling in the Tory party where this government had to send innocent Windrush citizens back to foreign countries some of them never stepped foot in their life?

Or how about dividing the country into two by calling in the most pointless referendum that was all about piping down the rise of UKIP and the racist right wing Tories inside the party but backfire instead?

And last but not least, have the United Nations report from a three month investigation that the United Kingdom under Tory rule have seen them neglect poverty so badly it was described as absolutely tragic.

Cheers.

You’re welcome

If you’re going to post on specifics then I suggest that you read up properly on the items that you raise.

NHS funding is currently around £140bn whereas it was around £110bn in 2010 - deliberately underfunding eh?

What were the poverty rates like in previous years? In fact from 2000 onwards they haven’t really moved that much and that’s if you buy into how these things are defined and therefore portrayed statistically.

You’re entitled to your opinion and your second post is nothing like your first. Your first was a silly childish remark and nothing more. At least now you’re trying to make a case; albeit not very well in my opinion.

C’mon admit now...be honest...you are really Jeremy Corbyn aren’t you?

The words of a failed debater.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s not even worth trying to debate or reason with such a twisted mindset - you are part of his loony left gang - I mean all that drivel you wrote above about underfunding the NHS

No acknowledgement to the fact that money was so tight over the past 10 years was purely because of the reckless spending of Blair and Brown previously, that almost bankrupted our Country...but no, you can’t admit that, it’s all the Torys fault for austerityyou blinkered to the bigger picture, and you can’t see or accept it

As for accusing the Torys of racism -That’s a joke...when Corbyn and his cronies and riddled with anti Semitism - but again no acknowledgement of that

You’re just on a blinkered anti Tory warpath - which make you look and sound as pathetic as the rest of Corbyn and loony left Trotskyites

Good use of emojis to help make your point.
Poor use of words and reason though.

Whether you like it or not, it’s called ‘Democracy’

Just accept it

Of course I accept it, I'm a democrat. But me accepting the results doesn't make Trump a good president, Boris a good PM, or Brexit à good idea. And using emojis instead of words makes you look like one of the morons you were talking about.
