I see the usual nonsense about

Harry Kane is being banded about by the media today. The latest nonentity to jump on the bandwagon is Chris Sutton, the one season wonder at Blackburn. Totally useless for most of his career, he had to continue it up in Scotland he was so poor.

What is it with these pundits that always seem to want to sell Spurs players. Are the players unique? are they priceless? You never hear them trying to sell players from other clubs. Total nonsense, and cheap journalism, although I would hardly call Sutton a journalist, he can barely string two sentences together.

Anyway let`s start the Kane bidding at say £200 million, and see where we go.

And now Too saying Kane should join United. Something like Kane will be devastated after a trophy less Spurs career so he should join United.

Problem with that is that United aren't much better than Spurs and he could end up winning very little, if anything, at United. Its a sideways move at the moment.

The Sports news days are slow at the moment, so the media are only too keen to wheel out morons like Sutton to give their opinions.

Kane has said nothing that he has not said before, but of course the media will try and blow things out of all proportion, they still have viewing figures to protect.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Kane was interviewed recently by the shlt stirrer Jamie Redknapp and was asked if he had any ambition to win trophies and the rest you know how it hangs.
That question was loaded and typical from Jamie.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seems like a very reasonable question to ask a player of Kanes ability and age considering he's the captain of England and has no club or international medal to his name.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Lots of old time greats didn't win anything. Finney, Haynes, Le Tissier, etc

All one club players.Interesting that you chose them as examples.

Did they stay at one club through loyalty, lack of ambition or a combination of both?

Still more likely to win something at United, member. We’ve been an absolutely shiiiiit show since Fergie retired yet have won as many trophies as Spurs have in the last 35 years.

Sandy if Kane requests a move 200 million will never happen. I think Kane wouldn't do so publicly and Levy would use that to try and inflate the fee but I think 100 million is fair, unless he stays in the premises, then I could see others asking for more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think this a flawed argument. Kane has won so many trophies on his own, including Golden boot, and has been consistently in the top of the goal scorers charts, even when he played less than most of his rivals and leads the attack for his country. With Kane being in the prime of his footballing life, and having still got 4 years left on his contract, a figure of £200million being branded isn't unrealistic.
Though, in the current climate can't see any club wanting to shell out that astronomical figure on a single player.
Although, we all know how devstating striker he is. Bullies, the defender, scores from left foot,, right foot and headers, takes penalties and can play link up as well.
Not many can match Kane in his pro approach. You add the attributes, and you can see why he would cost so much.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is an exceptional striker and a model pro I agree but Mbappe money just isn't going to happen.
Sure he's been top goalscorer in the premises but you can't really suggest that alone means he is worth a near wr sum. He isn't the most mobile striker and has had a number of injuries, which have effected the number of games he has played, and goals he has scored.

Salah is a winger who has won it 2 years running but I still wouldn't say he is worth 200 million, and he isn't a striker. Kane is the best England has and although he is worth 200 million to spurs, as he is impossible to replace within spurs means, he simply isn't worth that to anyone else imo.

Why spend 200 on kane if you're city or Madrid when you could look at Mbappe etc. Just can't see it happening personally

Past does mean nothing. History though means a lot. History cannot be taken away, but the past counts for zero. You don`t get points or trophies what happened in the past.
