UEFA have postponed the CL and

Europa League for season 2020/21 until further notice. Looks the beginning of the end of all seasons across Europe.

Was only a matter of time.

The daft thing is they everyone is fixated on Liverpool being crowned champions but that is in fact a minor issue compared to what other clubs are going for.

Despite Spurs being pathetic all season they actually are still in with a chance of champions league football as one example which equates to earning a small fortune.

Just don't understand the rush to make a massive decision this early, abandon a season now and then a month from now the virus suddenly clears up and we are left with nothing. Indefinitely they said.

I’m of the opinion the season will carry on. I’m just pointing out that the Belgium football association have voided their season and crowned club Brugge champions. I reckon the Prem season will continue in July, have always said that. If it’s behind closed doors then so be it, but the league will finish.

Club Brugge have been crowned champions of the Belgium league. Like I been saying, if the season ends to void then just crown Liverpool champions and be done with it. If the Belgium league are doing it, others will follow.

It hasn't been voided but ended early with the current standings taken as final places

I assume they won't enforce relegations though and to be honest IF they end this current season early it would likely be what they do here and give Liverpool the title. It would be most unfortunate for the likes of Leeds and Wolves.

tbh mate I don't want that, we all know we're win the league

However the top 4/5, EL places, and promotion/relegation need to be sorted out

I just want footy back on as soon as its safe to play.

The top 4/5 battle looks like it will be epic this season and relegation battle looks pretty tight too

Lets hope we can crack on late summer and finish the season.

This won’t clear up in the U.K. in a month. Remember how poorly we are testing here.

How lockdown was late, behind that of Italy. This league will not be completed before the next is due to start.

I agree it is unlikely

I have no idea why people keep saying there has to be a cut off point when we have no idea when next season can even start.

Let's say it gets to June and we still can't start the season so we use that as a cut off point and declare it null and void, with the aim to start next season as normal in August. It gets to August and we still can't play, then October and still nothing. Then finally in December it's safe enough to resume normal life. Then what?

You can't fit a full 38 game season with all domestic comps in a 5 month span given the Euros are next summer. It would be impossible. So then you're in a situation where you can't carry on this season, nor can you start a new season.

The only sensible thing to do is wait and see what happens and then make a decision.

Been saying the same thing. Its a no brainer. At the end of the day people are only looking out for their own interests. Either their own club to benefit or a club they don't like to fail to achieve its targets. Put all the bias aside and the true position becomes clear as day.

I would assume that no matter what legal actions are taken by the clubs/league, they will have to go by what the UK government is insisting happens. A lockdown, social distancing etc.

This is to save people. Football is important, but not that important to risk people, if steps are not taken to ensure that this is over then is it possible that we are back in this situation in 12 months time?

And Trump is saying 100,000 deaths is a victory. I don't want to see another 10,000 italians, 2,500 Brits etc dead.
