Hope everybody is keeping safe

in these very uncertain times. Stay indoors as much as possible seems to be the underlying message. As the weather improves I suspect it will be more difficult to keep people in lockdown, but it is absolutely essential that we all stay at home wherever possible.

Myself I have pretty well been shut in now for three weeks, other than the odd 20 minute walk every three or four days. Even then I am nervous about coming into contact with other people. Is everybody else of the same mindset?

Putting aside Party Politics, pretty sure everybody knows my politics, but how do you think this is being handled? Our Leader we know caught the virus nearly three weeks back, and has not really been seen since. Do you think it is more serious than others are letting on. Same with the Chief Medical Adviser, he seems to have gone down with it as well. Matt Hancock seems to be putting on a brave face, but not sure he is actually telling us all we need to know, same with Gove. They seem to be pushing a particular line, without actually giving too much information away of what is really happening behind the scenes. Testing and Equipment for the Front Line workers should be a priority, but is it being carried out quick enough? The Government promised 250,000 tests a month back, and still are barely reaching 10,000. Surely they should have been better prepared for this sort of thing. Pandemics after all are not exactly unknown.

The main message though is STAY INDOORS, and just maybe together we can shorten this catastrophe that has enveloped the world.

Afternoon Genius, this time of the year I would normally be doing four or five hour walks, but am now down to 20 minute walks, just a couple of times a week.

Hi Sandy

Bit more difficult for you in and around Edmonton, although if I remember you do have a couple of parks like Pymmes.

Although I would think you might encounter far more people than I do on my walks.🚶‍♂️

I live in Enfield mate, and I have a footpath running along the back of where I live, so not to bad. If we say go out at 9.00, usually meet nobody or maybe the odd dog walker, and we are back for 9.30. It is better than nothing.
