Another hot day on lockdown, everybody who has a garden is out there, those without have their windows wide open. That leads to a lot of music being played loud.
Question is, do you just listen to the same music you always listen to, or does the sunshine lead you to breaking out styles that have been gathering dust during the cold months of winter?
Do you bring out the tunes that remind you of that holiday in Ibiza where you fingered a fat old bird to a soundtrack of Ministry of Sound and Pete Tong, or that trip to the Carribean when you smoked the 'erb listening to Marley, Tosh, Toots and them? Or is it classic R&B and G-funk from the likes of Montell, Dre, Snoop and Jodeci?
Feel free to post videos below, and let's chill out in the April sun.
Sunshine music?

Pete Tong is from Dartford

He played the Tunnel.
For our Glasgow ravers too.

“Summer days are ska and reggae.”
————————————————————-
Agree with this. Loads of good suggestions in this thread but whack this on if the sun puts its hat on again today. The Dexy’s Midnight Runners tune no one ever mentions because of that come of Eileen abomination (that I’m admittedly a sucker for).

Hey mate, long time no see.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey mate, how’s lockdown life treating you? Isolation is giving me a bit more time to show up in these parts again. Also can’t say no to a good music thread.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm all good thanks, glad you're well too. If it's you, and I'm thinking it is, then I know you more as Brighty from the IMDB sports board. This is Jimothy off there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bloody hell! This is a blast from the past. And it is indeed Brighty! How on earth did you know? Have we had this conversation before and I’m forgetting? I should have known it was you to be honest (a spurs fan I can’t help but like and nod to in almost constant agreement).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I kind of put 2 and 2 together, seeing a few posts on here from you before, being an Arsenal fan, Wrighty being your favourite player, and a decent command of the English language which is fairly rare in these parts. More an educated guess than anything.
Nice to see some familiar faces from way back still existing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha, I’m guessing being the constantly angry melancholic helped with that too.Great detective work either way. You always were much smarter than your choice of football club.
Good to know there’s a familiar face / username on planet forum all these years later. God bless isolation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Indeed, I never forget a good rant, which were of course some of the highlights of the IMDB sports board when Arsenal lost badly.
Shame that whole community has since been dispersed. I miss it when it was at its peak and thriving with the British/Irish posters. Spurs hadn't done too bad in all that time since but alas as with IMDB all good things come to an end, and we've presently become shiiite again.

Albatross by Fleetwood Mac
Or
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Scar Tissue
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Glad someone put Scar Tissue - real summer anthem for me. Love Albatross too.
Also this - the vocals kind of sound like they’re melting:
