So, according to some on here, the gist of it is -

1 Rangers are quite right to demand an independent enquiry

2 An enquiry cannot be independent if it is paid for by anyone.

3 Therefore Rangers are demanding something that is impossible unless we can find some truly independent bunch of saps to volunteer to do it buckshee.

4 Of course, Rangers could pay for it (snigger). Then it would definitely be independent.

You broke your self imposed exile to post this tripe!! An inquiry can only be truly independent if neither of the parties involved have commissioned it!! That is just common sense and not even up for debate!! As to the accuser paying for it in any civil court, you do not get independent inquiries in the civil courts!! If a child dies on an operating theatre and there is a suspicion of incompetence by the surgeon then the parents do not pay for the independent inquiry!!! There was really no point in coming back if it was just to have a go at posters, like you always do!!

Industrial/employment tribunal in cases of wrongful dismissal......employee used to have to pay the costs of the tribunal in advance of hearing and I believe recover costs if he/she won their case. I think now there's no upfront costs for an employee.

Their case heard in front of a panel of independent lawyers who have no connection to the employee.

How does the employee not receive a fair hearing????

He does receive a fair hearing if the lawyers at the hearing are independent of the employee and the employer!! I am struggling to understand why you are struggling with this!!
