Read a funny article in today’s Times. It was commentating on the mess that various famous people’s hair styles were during the lockdown. Here is what it said about The Trumpet;

The alternative to the buzzcut is the Trump tresses, curling it round and round like a Mr. Whipped. The US president’s hair, long studied by barbers and nesting birds alike, has taken on a new hue in recent weeks, fading from mustard to mayonnaise. Perhaps he has already been at the bleach.

There is a worse disease than Coronavirus. Each infected person went on to infect between three and six others. A third of them died, disproportionately so among the young. The disease was variola, better known as smallpox. Smallpox was by some accounts the first disease to get a vaccine, using the related but less severe cowpox. It was also the first to be defeated entirely by a vaccine. It disappeared in 1977.

The many friends & acquaintances I have in the Scots Muslim community.

Now in their 3rd day of fasting added to other lockdown stresses.

Mosques all over Scotland are still preparing communal meals.

They are now distributing these to key workers & Homeless Units.
