What happens next season?

So much talk about how this season ends but the real question for scottish football is how do we start next season if clubs cant let any fans in?

The money we get from sky is a pittance and wont sustain either of the old firm so what do we do?

You cant see the governemnt letting fans go to a game till a vaccine is out, which is at least 18months away, so how can Scottish football survive?

All the talk?

Who is saying fans can’t attend games until there’s a vaccine?

20 odd thousand die from flu every year and there’s a vaccine for that but I don’t see gatherings being banned because of that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Scottish government have made it quite clear we wont see mass gatherings until a vaccine is ready to avoid a second wave. Social distancing will be here till a vaccine is out.

Flu isn’t as contagious, fortunately.

Has that been scientifically established yet? I’m not sure it has.

Ginger, I can't remember the source but have read similar reports that the transfer rate for Covid is higher than the Flu.

Other than what I read and not sure it is 100% agreed among all agancies I did see a few reports on the levels of how contagious the respective diseases are

Who knows absolutely atm though?

So the 14-15 flu season which was bad they attributed 26,000 deaths. Corona is about 21k hospital and they think about half that again in care homes in a much shorter space of time and with lockdown so I think we can assume it is more contagious?

It would seem to be more contagious.

Comparing it to the flu is kind of pointless. It'd be one thing if it replaced the flu completely - then you could have a like-for-like and decide which was worse - but you have C-19 deaths *as well as* the flu deaths annually.

Flu passes on to about 1.25 people this corona passes on to about 4 people due to it spreading through coughs.

The Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 seasons will not resume after France banned all sporting events, including behind closed doors, until September.

There has to be a genuine fear for our game if this becomes the normal.

People with the flu are most likely in among the Covid victims so that would be double counting.

What do you do then?
2020 deaths - 2019 flu deaths = Coronavirus deaths?
I'm not trying to be facetious; numbers aren't my bag.
