I have some memories of Trevor before he signed for Leeds....older fans might remember the 'Green Final' a rushed out cheap newspaper that you could by in your street at about 6ish every Saturday evening, just after the games had finished...though the guy would shout as he walked through the streets 'Urinal' at least that's what he sounded like.

I would read the match reports and the Huddersfield games always had prominent a player called Trevor Cherry, week after week he seemed to be the most dominant player in their team...I know they had Frank Worthington another great player and entertaining to watch...I used to think this Trevor Cherry must be some player, his name crops up all the time in reports.
Revie and the Leeds players knew he was very good too and Revie signed him...let's face it you had to be very good to get into that team, at that time...he was a very good player no doubt.

It seems 100 is our jinx!..

The Centenary Cup Final winners!..

100th Birthday and the Worlds gone mad!..

And we seem to be losing to the older of us the best team in our history!..

It'll be sad to think back on this year, even if we do go up, and that won't be just for footballing reasons!..

RIP Trevor, say Hi to Norm and the rest from the Leeds family!..

Condolences to Trev's family and friends!.

RIP Trevor.

Yet another gut punch in a year of gut punches.
Loved watching him. One of my favourite players
from that era. Damn.

Another legend of Don Revie's team, he joins Don Revie and some of his team mates up there. Very underrated player and gentleman..
