Mr Maxwell, what do you bring to being able to lead an industry?

I've played loads of games, made an erse of management and been thrust into running a club for 4 years because they couldn't afford to pay me off and needed someone to do the job of MD.

Great, I can see you are our ideal candidate for this industry leading position - shall we say £350k?

Great I only get £100k just now.

And you are comfortable telling vastly experienced guys with FTSE experience running £100m companies for longer than you've had any career what to do?

Er, umm, er, £350k, you say? Aye, why not, fck it, what's the worst that can go wrong?

And you are fine being highly visible and leading the industry in this country, and a 170 person organisation and 140,000 registered players?

Will probably be taken as a dig but honestly I miss a component Rangers football club. Not talking on the park want to hump you all day there.
I mean a club who is on a similar level and will deal with issues facing clubs of our size.

I agree with this JASC. We are in a select group of heavyweights in a largely uncompetative domestic league. In history both clubs have experienced domenance and the power will shift again. But what this League is capable is largely determined by what Both the OF do. I agree. When we play great we attract and develop better players to the League. Can't be denied

Maxwell is actually pretty smart.I know our games a fook up but i largely think it's a structural issue as opposed to all of the people working in the game

I’m getting a bit bored with all this now as I think most people will be.

Nothing will ever convince me that this was little more than a shabby attempt at having the season declared null and void to prevent the award of the 9th successive title and demonstrating to the majority of the fan base that they were going to stand up for them no matter what and reverse the previous stance of being continually sneered at and battered away at. Some of it deserving and some not. It’s also a time when they need the fans most, as do the other clubs.

As such it’s been a circus that promised a show stopping reveal all bombshell but in the end delivered very little.

That apart the SPFL isn’t fit for purpose as a board and Doncaster and his chums have some explaining to do in terms of openness and adopting an air of sole decision making and responsibility taking which is beyond their remit. In amongst all this Robertson is nothing more than a despicable untrustworthy snake.

Doncaster and Robertson should be shown the door just on what we’ve seen alone and what remains of the board be forced to at least try and explain the rationale behind their decision making to the clubs who they after all are charged with representing.

So what’s resulted from this dossier? A series of questions that needed answering for sure. Unfortunately the build up (which was created solely by Rangers to as I’ve said, try and null and void the season) and the resulting “evidence” are so far removed from each other, so rambling and scatter gun that in all likelihood Doncaster et al will be allowed to rightly sneer at it but wrongfully be allowed to come out of it relatively unscathed.

Hardly a job well done and unfortunately will be seen for essentially what it is and having had zero affect.

I do report though that Robertson should be unceremoniously booted out. Not for whistleblowing but for his actions of yesterday, his refusal to be part of the board when required and the deliberate leaking of confidential information which breaks company law.

Doncaster should do the decent thing and resign. He won’t and as such there should be a vote of confidence which should hopefully have him removed from office with his pay off whatever that is.

There. Now I’m really fed up with all of this and next Tuesday will put the final nail into both the external investigation and the null and void garbage. I hope anyway.
